i am playing Fatal Frame or Project Zero on my OLD PS2 for the first time.

and this Background Music has a strange familiar tune to me

the first few secondes have similar tune like in Code Veronica OST Track Putrid Smell

yesterday, finally the trailer to Netflix Devil May Cry finally showed up.

i can´t descripe in words how excited i am to see more of it.

Well, Ad Shankar who also made Castlevania and the short film to Punisher, is working closley with Hideaki Itsuno on this project.

Devil May Cry also got a Anime adaption back in 2007 by MADHOUSE.

But the show was loosley based on the games, and tried to tell its own story.

I don´t complain much, i pretty much enjoyed the DMC Anime adaption. I also liked the soundtrack of it.

Netflix´s Devil May Cry seems to take his own story of the franchise.

If i look at the trailer Dante doesn´t has Rebellion on his back, and his guns are clearly not Ebony&Ivory. Compared to Castlevania, the new Devil May Cry Series will take his own origin story. Maybe we will se a animated adaption of the first DMC novel. Or maybe a mix between the Novel and DMC3. And DMC1 as the big final !? i don´t know, before i go into speculations and hopes that will never be fulfilled.

To Dantes´design. It looks like a mix between all of Dantes designs from the Games.

The coat has a touch of his DMC5, but with belts like the DMC3 and the shoulder parts looking like the DMC4 coat.

His is wearing a white shirt or tanktop, which comes from apparently from DmC. Even the amulet looks like from DmC.

The haircut on the other hand is the only part that bothers me. i prefer it more falling down, and not in a spikey bow cut.

The soundtrack sounds really crazy. unusual to the game ones. But maybe it fits the show more ?

Sadly, unlike the DMC Anime, this time Reuben Langdon will maybe not voice Dante in this.

i don´t know, maybe he sounds not young enough anymore. but i am willing to give, if he is a new VA, a fair chance.

I also heard, that Lady and Vergil are also kinda confirmed to be in the show.

When i look back at Castlevania, i think it is a good choice.

It makes the story better, and showing more of other characters is something good IMO.

I know, that a lot of people are bothered about Adi Shankar´s state that he compared Vergil with Thanos. And in a way, i say this because Vergil is my 2nd favorite character. He sure has a point there.

Vergil is also greedy for Power, and no matter if innocent lifes are at stake.

But the interview kinda felt to me like a act.

I mean Shankar hints the letter D.M.C. the interviewer suddenly calls her out as a DMC Fan and as a Vergil ?

But i don´t want to go further into it. seems i know a few guys which is trigger this.

anyway. I will look forward to see more trailers and what the story of the show is all about.

And i totally would lvoe to see many easter eggs to the franchise. And how it will be connected with Castlevania.

There is also a Tomb Raider TAS in the works, which will follow the Survivor Timeline and i am also kinda excited about.
